Nutrition for Teens Workshops
Our popular workshops are aimed at giving teenagers the information they need to make well informed food choices.
Is your teen:
constantly hungry or tired
having difficulty concentrating or staying on task
moody or anxious
prone to skin breakouts
suffering from PMS, unpredictable or painful periods (NB: we run girls-only workshops)
averse to fruit and veg
sporty and veering towards protein powders
simply interested in food and cooking
We'll help them understand what to eat, when to eat it and why they should bother!
Our workshops are informative and education but fun and relaxed. We never tell, we suggest! Where appropriate, your teen will be encouraged to ask questions, discuss issues and get involved.
Your teenager will leave with the knowledge of how food helps them to perform optimally in the classroom, in competitive sport and in life generally.
They'll even make a quick, nutritionally balanced meal to eat before they leave and come away Take Home Notes and Recipe Card.
Groups are run by gender because girls aren't mini-boys.
All they need is an open mind and a sense of humour. We provide everything else.
Dates and Times
Tuesday 9 April 2019: Boys aged 13-17
Friday 12 April 2019: Girls aged 13-17
11am - 1.30pm
Spaces are limited to 4 per workshop
